Congratulations to Dr. Vince Wilson on His Successful Ph.D. Defense!

On April 7th, Vince Wilson successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation titled “Control and Optimization of Heterogeneous Flexible Demand and Generation Resources for Grid Support”. His research focused on characterizing the operational limits of different generation and demand resources and then using optimization to model different ways they could support power system operations (monetary savings, ancillary service provision, emissions reduction, etc).
